Christmas decoration: dressed bottles

ελληνικό κείμενο

In Tuesday's post I showed how I decorated my mantel. Today I will show you how I made the two bottles I used for it.

It all started with a laundry disaster, my blouse came out so shrinked that it was impossible to wear. So I found two empty bottles in my cupboards

and after I cut off the sleeves, I dressed the bottles with them. I left the sleeves long because I liked the pleated look.

I decorated the first bottle with wool thread which I wrapped around it in irregular lines and with sequins which I glued on the fabric and wool with fabric glue.

For the second bottle I used trims, one ric rac and one with rhinestones. I also glued them on the fabric.

In the next post I will show you how I made the stars I put in them.
