How to (re)use doilies
Most of us have bags stuffed with doilies hidden in some closet which we deny to let appear at any spot of the house but on the other hand don't want to throw away because we know they were made with love and a lot of work by some granny or auntie. If this is your case look here to see what Jessica of Scrumdillydilly has to suggest about how you can use them: to make grocery bags, although I think they are too cute to restrict them to grocery.
Flowers on concrete
Can a concrete floor become more romantic and delicate looking? It seems that it can be done, Transparent House did it. What I understand from the picture is that a fine floral design is engraved on the material altering its rigid and industrial character.

My vintage style gifts / Τα παλιομοδίτικα δώρα μου
Vassiliki is one of my best friends and of course she knows I adore everything vintage or vintage style. She currently lives in Aachen - Germany but she often comes to Greece. At the moment she 's here again and look what cute gifts she brought me.

Beautiful fabrics
I can't sew but I love browsing the web for beautiful fabric. All these colors and patterns fascinate me. When I discovered Heather Bailey's online store I loved her beautiful florals and their delightful color combinations. Imagine what beautiful crafts you can use them for. They make me want to learn how to sew now!

Tagging
The bloggers of European Street Team are currently playing this tagging game. I was tagged by Dindi and by Eve.
The rules are:
1. Link to your tagger and list these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blog.
4. Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
So here are the shocking facts about me.
1. I always leave things to be done later.
2. I can eat huge amounts of chocolate.
3.In highschool I had two walls of my bedroom covered with Duran Duran posters.
4. I am still best friends with the 3 girls we sat together in the classroom at school.
5. I have the "Sound of Music" soundtrack cd with Julie Andrews and my friends are making fun of me about this.
6. My house is colorful.
7. I prefer magazines about home decor to those about fashion.

6. Το σπίτι μου είναι γεμάτο χρώμα.

A young designers trade show
This weekend I hope I will make it to Tell a Story . It's a trade show for young designers which is going to take place for the third time and more specifically between the 10th and 12th of October 2008 at K44 (Konstantinoupoleos 44, Gazi). It will open on Thursday 9th of October at 21.00h with a big party open to all.
Tell a story is focusing on the presentation of fresh and innovative work of young designers, aiming to promote it within the greek and foreign market. Forty young designers will present their collections of clothing, fashion accessories, jewellery, bijoux, objects, t-shirts for Spring - Summer 2009, always in small quantities and high quality. The exhibition is for trade only or by special invitation.
